Welcome to our first ever KAIO blog post! ⭐️
We are SO excited you’re here, and we can’t wait to dive into some TRUTH with you, and learn about fruitful living!
Growing up, I’m sure you heard the song “Fruits of the Spirit” a million times. It’s something you could probably sing in your sleep! But there is some truth to this song, as living a fruitful life is biblical. Galatians 5:22-23 says “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law”. While these may just sound like lyrics to your favorite Vacation Bible School song, these are actually the tangible ways we can see fruitfulness in others. It’s put pretty clearly in Matthew that
“By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.” Matthew 7:16-17
What This Means for Us
As followers of Christ, we are called to bear good fruit, and from that list given in Galatians, wouldn’t you want to?! We have such an amazing opportunity to not only share the love of Jesus with others, but share these amazing qualities too! When we acknowledge Christ as our Savior, we are committing to run the race with him. In John 15:5, Jesus says “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing”. We have the amazing opportunity to get to walk with Jesus, and as a result bear amazing fruits!
As you go throughout your day and even your week, try to pay attention to the fruits you’re bearing. Are they those that were listed in Galatians 5:22-23? If not, what are some ways you can begin to grow the seeds of those fruits in your everyday life.
Happy Monday, KAIO fam! We hope you guys have an amazing week! 🤍

My church has been spending the month in John 15. I too feel compelled to bear the good fruit!
