How To Surround Yourself With Good People! 🫶🏼
If you read our last devotional, you read about the importance of surrounding yourself with people who are like-minded and will bring you closer to the Lord. We won’t rehash it all for those of you who have already read it, but if you haven’t be sure to go read that devotional! Since the last devotional talked about “the why” of life-giving friendships, we wanted to talk about some of the tangible ways you can cultivate these kinds of friendships. While there are TONS of ways to do this, we’ve come up with three ways to start. So let’s dive into how to surround yourself with good people.
1. Get Plugged In With Your Church!
No matter what season of life you’re in, getting plugged in at your church is an amazing way to cultivate friendships with like-minded people. Most churches offer college groups, women’s groups, small groups. These groups will allow you to meet people within the same season of life who are also walking with the Lord.
2. Learn More About Any Campus Ministries!
If you’re in college, there are so many campus organizations that might be available to you (depending on where you go to school). There is RUF, Delight Ministries, and other organizations like those that provide faith-based community within the college world. Doing some research on which organizations your college offers is a great place to start.
3. Lean Into the KAIO Community!
We’ve created KAIO as a place for women to come together to be set on fire for the Lord. Engage in our devotionals (like this one!) and comment on our Question of the Day posts on social media! You can also submit prayer requests or topics you’d like to read about by submitting the forms on our site. These are all ways to get involved with KAIO with basically just the click of a button!
We hope this has helped you come up with a few ways on how to surround yourself with good people. KAIO exists to walk WITH you through these seasons. As always, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the KAIO team! We hope you have an awesome rest of your week, KAIO fam. 💛
